Taking a step back from the promotional and monetary sides of poker even though all are necessary fail in comparison to this here. Having spent countless hour seeking out ways to provide the top quality a poker blog can bring you from a personal perspective means nothing. How is that? Remember when earlier when I mentioned about "fail in comparison," try organizing efforts to keep poker legalized in the United States Of America, yeah I thought so! Now for those who are reading understand the effort must match the cause. Which means, if the cause is of any importance to an individuals and groups will take the time, energy and resources (sometimes money) necessary to support the cause.
I am currently in the process of finding out more about the http://theppa.org/ which I discovered through innocent surfing on other poker blogs and websites on our http://twitter.com/#!/maydabsthndwin page. Aside from the self promotion in the first sentence I am connected to this organization by poker for starters. Interestingly enough
I post up an article on two on the status of poker in general in the U.S.A and from the information found on this sight the struggle continue. Being involved with several nonprofit organization in my life it's quite surprising to see efforts being designed to legitimize the game. The question still remains even with a small website and blog of my own to maintain with plans of expanding.
What can I do to help? Where do I go to sign up? Who do I talk to more in-depth about this?
