What Happened At WSOP Opener? Got a Min?

The last time I posted it came from Caesars in Atlantic City, NJ formerly known as Harrah's hotel and casino to enter the WSOP sponsored $350.00 No Limit Hold'em poker tournament.  On arrival being about 30 minutes late the door opens we find the 3rd floor room filled to capacity with over 1000 competitors already seated. Under the spell of anticipation, I hear dealer uttered the words "alternate" to her table which immediately spreads up and down the line like wildfire.

With the focus of paying the entry fee needed to play we waited another 15-20 minutes before seeing the front desk counter.  Rumors began to persist that in about 30 minutes of playing up to 50 people were knocked out which comes as a surprise with 10,000 in playing chips.

Reaching the counter with a sigh of relief, little did we know that was the only action that would take place that day.  With registration in hand took a second to stare at the case of 3 WSOP rings encased in the glass box, again not knowing that was the only rings we'll see today. After receiving the tickets the wait now begun to be seated and ready to play.  The wait would continue as 2hr 30 min goes by with alternate #65 being called that's when reality kicked in.  Blinds were rising, chips building, time is running, today would not be the day to wait 3 more hours to be properly seated to play.

Congratulations...
